The Library in a Nutshell:
- The Branch was founded in 1967, serves both adults and children.
- Collection Size - 10403; subscribes to 8 titles of periodicals.
- Annually: visitors - 12,700, borrowings - 18,300.
- Attendance order and borrowing conditions are stated in the Library Regulations.
- The books are lent out under an automatic loan system.
- Public internet centre with 5 computerized workstations has been launched into operation.
- Access to internet and databases is available. Instructions how to use internet and play computer games.(In Lithuanian only).
- The library organizes attractive cultural events for the children and adults of the community.
Cooperation and friendly ties with neighbouring Rekyva Primary School and the kindergarten Bangele (A little wave), Pakape basic school. The library offers programmes for the community children and displays their art and craft works.
