The Library in a Nutshell:

• Collection Size - 23,000; subscribes to 10 titles of periodicals
• Offers services both to adults and children.
• The users are served in a lending room,a reading room and a foreign languages reading room.
• Annually: visitors - 19,000, borrowings - 40,600.
• The books are lent out under an automatic loan system.
• Foreign Languages Reading Room
• Reader’s service order is determined by the Library Regulations.
• 6 computerized workstations with an access to internet, databases are available. Rules how to use internet and computer games (in Lithuanian only).
• Library users are welcome to literary exhibitions and library events.

Cooperation with neighbouring schools and kindergartens, Children’s with hearing disabilities school, Kairiai and Ginkunai Basic schools results in displays of children’s drawings and craft.
